Design that keeps up: Lightweight, breathable, dimensionally stable yet stylish

 

As a golfer, hiker, and skier, she often prefers to keep functional clothing on because it allows every movement, is lightweight, and durable. However, classic functional clothing quickly looks like it's for a hiking trip or a jogging session.

OFLAB emerged from this observation: fashion made from technical functional fabrics for everyday wear, with style and clean lines. This is how OFLAB fills the gap between sportswear and casual wear.

For OFLAB, Tech Tailored Womenswear means: Performance fabrics, as known from sports and outdoor, are transformed into feminine ready-to-wear. So, pieces that look effortless, feel good, and don't slow you down. Minimalist in design, comfortable to wear, made for active women and for days that have more than one occasion and match many of your outfits.

The fabrics are the heart of it. They are super light, quick-drying, and flexible. The three-dimensional elasticity ensures freedom of movement and dimensional stability. In addition, there are properties that truly make a difference in everyday life: breathable, colorfast, pilling-free, and with integrated UPF 50 sun blocker.  

OFLAB produces in Europe. The fabrics come from Italy and are OEKO TEX Standard 100 certified. Manufacturing takes place in Poland. Selected styles are planned as carryovers because good pieces shouldn't disappear after just one season.

Frauke Ortner, founder of OFLAB, learned the fashion business from scratch. She was a product manager, has been responsible for the look of Ortner in Dortmund for years, and is a recognized fashion expert for upscale retail.
